G'S GIVING GOWNS
My name is Giuliana and I am 13 years old. I live in New Jersey. I am the founder of GsGivingGowns. I learned how to sew at a local fashion camp in the summer of 2020. I started GsGivingGowns in the summer of 2021. The inspiration for Gs Giving Gowns is my little cousin who is a Pediatric cancer survivor.
I love to provide children fighting pediatric cancer with a customized hospital gown that is sewn with love. I love to create a special handmade gown with bright vibrant colors and patterns to bring a smile to the faces of these brave little warriors.
I have sewn and donated gowns over 1,232 custom Pediatric hospital gowns to kids in Georgia, New Jersey, New York, Colorado, Florida, California, Wisconsin, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, North Dakota, Maryland, Connecticut, Alabama, New Hampshire, Texas, Virginia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Nevada, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Louisiana, New Mexico, Hawaii, Arizona, Washington, Indiana and Canada!!!! G'S GIVING GOWNS AT A GLANCE
My name is Giuliana and I am 13 years old living in Freehold, New Jersey.  I learned how to sew during the summer of 2020 at a local fashion school camp.  I received my very own sewing machine for my 10th birthday. I have continued taking group sewing classes weekly working on small projects.  Â
I was inspired to create my first handmade hospital gown in the spring of 2021 by my little cousin who is a pediatric cancer survivor. She was only ten months old when she was diagnosed and she spent 9 months living in the hospital undergoing treatments following her surgery. I noticed the hospital gowns they provided were drab colors like green and yellow and were always way too big on her and did not seem to fit right. My family got in touch with a seamstress on Facebook who made special Disney themed dresses for vacations and asked if she could make the same fabrics, she used into hospital gowns.   The gowns were bright and cheerful and made my cousin happy. I saw how happy the special gowns made her and my family so I decided when I learned how to sew on my own that I would create gowns for other young, brave children and donate them for free. I think these special kids deserve something special to wear during their fight. Â
I decided now that I learned to sew on my own that I would create gowns for other young, brave children and donate them.
